Alley 6 Craft Distillery is a 100% family-owned and operated distillery in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, built by husband-and-wife team Jason and Krystle Jorgensen. Every part of the process happens on site, from milling grain, pressing fruit, or sourcing local wine, through mashing, fermenting, distilling, barreling, and bottling, on two 250-gallon direct-fire copper alembic pot stills. Alley 6 is a Certified Craft Distillery (DSP-CA-20064) through the American Distilling Institute.

The Founder's Note

Jason and Krystle Jorgensen fell for craft spirits after moving to Northern California, where Jason worked at a steakhouse pouring premium whiskies and became passionate about distilling. Tastings, distillery tours, and a life-changing trip to Scotland solidified their decision to open Alley 6 in 2012, built, in their own words, 'by thrifty nickels and a lot of elbow grease.'

How It's Made

Every spirit is produced start to finish at the Healdsburg distillery on two 250-gallon direct-fire copper alembic pot stills, using local Sonoma County ingredients, wine grapes, fruit, and grain, milled, pressed, mashed, fermented, distilled, barreled, and bottled on site.

Tasting Notes

Tropical character on the nose with hints of sugar, vanilla, roasted fruit, and pineapple upside-down cake. Rye spice on the palate with a fiery kick that mellows with each sip and banana notes on the finish, balancing malty sweetness with an ashy dryness.
