Each release is sourced from once-active operations, now quiet, where the barrels left behind continue to mature untouched and untampered with. These are not recreations or continuations. They are the remaining barrels of distilleries that have already said their last word. No new barrels will follow. No second runs will emerge. What exists today is all that will ever exist. Selected and bottled at peak character, each cask carries the imprint of its origin, its methods, its materials, its moment in time. Fallen Barrel House's current release is sourced from R6 Distillery, a pot-still distillery in El Segundo, California founded in 2014 by fourth-generation distiller Rob Rubens. Fallen Barrel House selects and bottles the remaining single-barrel stock at cask strength, unblended and untampered with - once each barrel is gone, no more will follow.
Tasting Notes
Nose of fresh baked bread, wildflower honey, and soft orchard fruit. Palate brings vanilla cream, light caramel, and gentle nuttiness. Finishes with soft oak and a clean, elegant lift.
