Trader Vic's 1944 formula (fresh lime, orange, and real Original Orgeat, almonds and all) in one bottle, so the only thing left to add is rum. Four ounces of mix to two ounces of a good gold or aged rum, shaken over crushed ice, makes a proper Mai Tai. Built on actual orgeat instead of almond flavoring, so it drinks like the bar version, not the sour-mix version. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 30 days; unopened, keeps two years from manufacture.

Founder Blair Reynolds has been in the tiki world since 2001, first posting on the Tiki Central message board and touring the last of the old Polynesian palaces, then chronicling the drinks, the rooms, and the bartenders at TraderTiki.com. That writing led to the stage at Tales of the Cocktail, Tiki Oasis, and FEAST, where he's a regular authority on all things tiki. In 2012 he opened Hale Pele in Portland, Oregon, routinely named one of the best tiki bars in the world. BG Reynolds began when a frustrated bartender lamented how hard it was to make cocktail ingredients by hand, to standard, night after night - within months Reynolds built an original orgeat with real almonds and cane sugar to solve exactly that problem, and the rest of the line followed.
