Our Story
BG Reynolds makes house-made tiki cocktail syrups, mixers, and bitters, built by a bartender, for bartenders, and for devout home mixologists, seasoned drinkers, and brand-new converts too. Real ingredients, painstakingly sourced, balanced for refreshing, authentic cocktails, again and again and again. The standard hasn't moved since 2009: real ingredients, small batches, and recipes that respect the classics enough to get the ounces right.
The Founders
Founder Blair Reynolds has been in the tiki world since 2001, first posting on the Tiki Central message board and touring the last of the old Polynesian palaces, then chronicling the drinks, the rooms, and the bartenders at TraderTiki.com. That writing led to the stage at Tales of the Cocktail, Tiki Oasis, and FEAST, where he's a regular authority on all things tiki. In 2012 he opened Hale Pele in Portland, Oregon, routinely named one of the best tiki bars in the world. BG Reynolds began when a frustrated bartender lamented how hard it was to make cocktail ingredients by hand, to standard, night after night - within months Reynolds built an original orgeat with real almonds and cane sugar to solve exactly that problem, and the rest of the line followed.
