Syrup is where a lot of a cocktail's flavor actually lives, and the difference between real fruit and artificial flavoring is obvious in the glass. These are small-batch syrups and mixers made with real ingredients.

B.G. Reynolds builds tiki staples the way the old bar manuals intended, including a Lush Grenadine made from actual pomegranate and a Zombie Punch mix true to the 1937 original. Strongwater makes an Old Fashioned syrup that turns whiskey into a cocktail in one pour. Liquid Alchemist in Los Angeles works with fresh fruit and ginger, and Yes Cocktail Co. in Paso Robles ages a maple syrup in bourbon barrels.
