Our Story
Strongwater was created for those who want more from what they pour: more flavor, more function, more presence. Every product is hand-crafted in small batches in Denver, Colorado, using Rocky Mountain water, and infused with whole plants and real botanicals rather than flat extracts. The team spans backgrounds in chemistry, herbology, distilling, mixology, viticulture, and zymology.
The Founders
Founder Nick Andresen grew up in a multicultural home — half-Norwegian, half-Korean — where his grandparents' Scandinavian folk medicine and Asian herbal tonic traditions were passed down through generations. He trained as a chemist and worked in Western pharmaceuticals before a group of Colorado herbalist friends reignited his interest in natural remedies. Strongwater started in his garage, with his wife and sommelier Asha's palate and partnerships with local herbalists shaping the first line of bitters.
How We Make It
Herbs, botanicals, and roots are steeped for 4-6 weeks using an old-world extraction process, and bitters are packaged exclusively in glass dasher bottles to preserve potency. The sparkling mixer and NA cocktail lines go through an extensive in-house carbonation process, engineered at altitude for a "champagne-like bubble," with formulas developed over weeks or months of small-batch testing.
