Pentire was founded on a love for coastal living. Our products are a celebration of unique plant life that grows on the surrounding headland in North Cornwall, England. We make healthy drinks with refreshing coastal flavours for active, outdoor loving folk, developed collaboratively with world-class bartenders. Key botanicals thrive on this coastline thanks to its climate, soil conditions and salt-rich air, and are naturally distilled into every product across the range.

Pentire was founded by Alistair Frost. In his own words: "Catching waves until dusk. Camping on cliff tops and foraging hedgerows for unexpected bounty. Sharing and experimenting with the flavours we found on the coast. We wanted to bottle that experience. And create a drink that harnesses the power, beauty and immense flavours of plants."
How It's Made
Pentire's spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails are made by naturally distilling plants native to the North Cornwall coastline. Where possible the brand uses Fair Trade and Organically Certified ingredients accredited by the Soil Association, extracted naturally. Packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard sealed with kraft paper tape, printed using waterless print technology that eliminates water use and VOC emissions, and deliveries are carbon offset through DPD's carbon neutral fleet. Pentire is a Certified B Corp and a member of 1% For The Planet, pledging a percentage of sales each month to ocean conservation, climate action, rewilding and regenerative agriculture causes.
Tasting Notes
Bright, zesty grapefruit citrus leading into refreshing green tones, complemented by natural berry notes and subtle seaweed complexity.
Mocktail Applications
Beach House PalomaRecipe
- 50 ml (2 oz) Pentire Seaward
- 25 ml (1 oz) fresh pink grapefruit juice
- 15 ml (0.5 oz) fresh lime juice
- 10 ml (0.3 oz) agave syrup
- Splash of soda water
- Pinch of Cornish sea salt
- Bay leaf or pink grapefruit, for garnish
Layer all the ingredients, add ice, and top with soda water. Gently stir and garnish with a bay leaf or pink grapefruit.
Eastern FizzRecipe
- 50 ml (2 oz) Pentire Seaward
- 25 ml (1 oz) fresh lime juice
- 20 ml (0.75 oz) agave syrup
- 3 cucumber slices
- 3 mint leaves
- Soda water
Muddle the cucumber slices in a shaker tin and add the mint. Add the rest of the ingredients with ice, shake, and fine-strain into a highball glass over ice. Top with soda water, gently stir, and garnish with sliced cucumber. Created by Soho House in collaboration with Pentire.
Seaward & TonicRecipe
- 50 ml (2 oz) Pentire Seaward
- 150 ml (5 oz) tonic water
- Fresh grapefruit wedge
Fill a highball glass with ice, add the Pentire Seaward, top with tonic water, and stir. Garnish with a wedge of fresh grapefruit.
