Veso makes wine-based aperitifs, produced and bottled by hand at a winery in San Francisco, California. Each bottle starts from a real California wine, then gets infused with whole fruits, hand-peeled citrus, and whole spices rather than extracts or concentrates.

Founder Chris Beyer built Veso out of an unusual mix of backgrounds: engineering, design, experiential hosting, small-batch wine-making, and software engineering. He describes building each aperitif intuitively, 'like putting a puzzle together with my eyes closed,' drawing on a knowledge base built years earlier in wine-making.
How It's Made
Veso infuses real California wine and grape spirits with whole ingredients, whole strawberries with their green tops still on, hand-peeled citrus, whole spices, and tea leaves, rather than using flavor extracts. Everything is produced and bottled by hand at their San Francisco winery in small, individually numbered batches.

Bright citrus and earthy, just like a rich cup of Earl Grey tea.
