Humboldt Distillery
Our Story
Humboldt Distillery aims to capture the spirit of California in its natural state. Surrounded by undeveloped coastline and old-growth redwood forests, the distillery is a certified-organic operation that prioritizes organic ingredients and low-impact production, using Humboldt County's water sources (about 60% of what's in every bottle). The lineup spans organic vodka, a hemp-infused vodka, and a full range of rum, whiskey, and brandy, all USDA Organic and Non-GMO. The distillery partners with the California Coastkeeper Alliance through its Toast to the Coast campaign, donating a portion of proceeds from Organic Vodka sales to support clean waterways.
How We Make It
Every spirit is USDA Organic certified and Non-GMO. The distillery runs as a low-impact facility, with no dangerous waste byproducts and recycling wherever possible.

Abe
Founder & Head Distiller
Abe is the founder and head distiller at Humboldt Distillery, from Humboldt County himself. When he's not distilling, he's swimming at the river, and his go-to pour is a Hemp Highball.
Courtney
Co-founder & Director of Operations
Courtney co-founded Humboldt Distillery and runs operations, having made her way to Humboldt from Clive, Iowa. She spends late summer afternoons at the river and keeps it simple with a vodka soda and a squeeze of lemon.
Grace
Assistant Distiller
Grace is an assistant distiller and a Humboldt County native, splitting her time between river days and rainy-day porch sitting, with country drives from the mountains to the ocean in between.
