Off Hours was born in Indiana, where founder Jake Ireland grew up alongside America's leading master coopers, distillers, and blenders. He launched Off Hours in 2020 to craft a whiskey for the next generation of drinkers who want to enjoy America's most iconic spirit: affordable, delicious, and without any divisive characteristics.
How It's Made
Off Hours is blended by one of the first and most prolific female master blenders in the industry. Now proudly distilled, aged, and bottled in Kentucky in partnership with Bluegrass Distillery in Midway, in some of the best water and whiskey-aging climate in the world.
Every barrel is Alligator Char, a deep char rather than economical flash charring, for bold, award-winning flavor. A direct line to the cooperage means American Oak "dead fall" wood, sourced sustainably from across the country.
Tasting Notes
Notes of maple and dark brown sugar, with cacao and dried red fruit on the palate, finishing with honey graham and vanilla.
